We live in an abundant Universe. This is Truth. I believe there is enough to go around and yet when I look at the world around I see many people who are experiencing much less than they need. Why? What is causing an experience of lack in a Universe filled with opulence?
I believe it is fear that keeps us in this experience. Fear prevents us from sharing fully, fear prevents us from loving completely, fear causes us to hoard what we have in case nothing more will come. So, how do I shift the fear? It starts with believing in Spirit. When we believe in something more than our current physical experience we develop faith. Faith helps us to see the possibility of something more or at least something different. This moves us from fear to love. We come to realize that love and fear cannot share the same space and time. Fear cannot live in the space of love and love when present eradicates fear. What I believe to be true is that fear is an illusion and love is the reality. Today I choose love. How about you?

A busy week has come to a close and I feel satisfied and grateful. When we look at our time and the way we have spent it we tend to judge whether it was good or bad, valuable or a waste. I'm curious what life would be like if we simply released the past experience with a grateful heart knowing that all things change and all is Spirit. Keeping in mind that Spirit, or God, is always good.

Happiness: 1) Being happy: gladness. 2) good luck; good fortune. 3) aptness according to the
Gage Canadian Dictionary
On the spiritual path many people are wanting to change something in their current experience. A change in their financial well-being, a more satisfying career, a loving relationship, health, or any number of other things. Whenever I ask 'how would you feel if you had the thing you want', I always hear the same answer; happiness. Sometimes, included with that, there is freedom, relief and peace of mind but happiness is the constant. Or when I ask them to qualify how they would feel if they were experiencing freedom, relief and peace of mind they respond with happiness.
We can have this feeling now. It exists within us. I believe that out natural state of being is joy, and as a result of that Truth, we can call it up at a moments notice. Even in the midst of deep grief and despair the simplest things can cause raucous laughter. Being happy is natural and I think if we spend more time thinking about the things in our life that are working for us we would find that happiness would be a more common experience.
Think about where you focus your attention, is it where you really want? If not, change your focus and see what happens.

The spiritual journey for some is arduous, why? Maybe we believe we have to work hard to figure it out? Possibly. Maybe the beliefs we hold about life in general factor in to the way we do everything we do? Could be. Maybe we hold beliefs about how broken we are and we are working hard at getting fixed? Might be. But, what if it didn't have to be like that? What if we could change our thoughts about who we think we should be and the consequence would be a life of ease, joy and freedom? Sounds good to me. I believe we are on a journey of discovery, a journey of finding our authentic self, a journey of uncovering, awakening to our true spiritual nature. And, yes, I do believe it can be easy, fun and interesting. Hop on board. Play more, enjoy life, explore the world, meet people, discover your true identity, and above all love what you find.

The Laws of the Universe are exact. We seem to understand or accept the physical laws more readily than the spiritual. Both are powerful and both are impacting our overall well-being and success. We understand that if we defy the law of gravity it will cause us personal injury. The same is true for the spiritual laws, when we go against the law the result is some form of pain. The spiritual laws are directed by our inner experience. What we believe about ourselves and what we believe about life is what manifests around us. The Universe always responds to us, through us. If we would like to change our reality we need to begin by doing some internal housekeeping. This will quickly move us into a greater experience of love, joy and prosperity.

Health is such an important part of our experience and sometimes we take it for granted. Then something happens and we wake up to the realization that this body is a temple, so to speak. It is the mode of transportation during this life experience and it reflects our current consciousness. What I love about the body is the many ways it communicates with us. Aches and pains can be signals of needs unmet, disease can be the result of holding thoughts of resentment or guilt perhaps, weight can signify a desire to protect the self. When we look at our body with love and compassion we begin to hear the messages it is sending. Then we get to choose, change or not. Love the skin your in, it is all you have for the current journey. :-)
